Ozan Emre EYUPOGLU is an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Medipol University, School of Pharmacy. He is the Head of the Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Head of the Department of Biochemistry. He received his Ph.D. from Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Science, Chemistry (Biochemistry) in 2017. Area of interest includes Health Sciences, Medicine, Basic Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomolecules, Nanotechnology, Lipidomics, Proteomics and Biological Spectroscopy. He has published numerous research articles in well-known journals and given international conferences on chromatographic analyzes and antioxidant activities of medicinal plants. He is closely related to topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and innovative techniques, and plans studies for processing biochemical data for disease diagnosis. He is an interdisciplinary scientist specializing in developing on-line chromatographic methods. There are 2 national patents, 1 international patent and 1 utility model related to a medical product and a herbal formulation. He advised 2 master's candidates who did thesis on the coagulation system and aromatherapy, and now has 3 doctorate studies on the nanotechnological applications of drugs and herbal extracts, and 1 doctorate working on the toxicology of bee products. As an editor and referee in many national and international journals, Dr. EYUPOGLU is an Associate member of the European Materials Modelling Council and received the 2020 International Young Scientist Award in Engineering, Science and Medicine from the International VDGOOD Technology Company.
